My steps

which wandered out in search of truth

stopped.

I see a subtle universe full of glowing allusions,

in countless places,

in immeasurable ways.

If only I can meet those approaching implications!

If only I can open hidden truths in the allusions!

How mysterious!

If allusion comes to my heart

and accepts my reaching out,

I will become a butterfly

and spread my wings of transcendence.

From the wheel of reincarnation

that leaves forever and returns forever,

this should be the movement of my life

to return to the original source.

진리 찾아 밖으로 밖으로만 헤매었던

나의 발걸음이

멈추었다.

빛나는 암시 가득한 현현(顯現)한 우주,

헤일 수 조차 없는 곳에서

헤일 수 없는 방식으로

우리에게 다가드는

그 암시(暗示)들을 만날 수만 있다면,

암시 속 숨겨진 진리들을

열어볼 수만 있다면,

얼마나 신비로운 일인가.

암시가 우리 마음에게로 다가와

손 내미는 것을

받아들이기만 한다면,

그것과 나는 하나의 나비가 되어

초월의 날개를 달으리.

영원히 떠나고 또 영원히 돌아오는

윤회(輪廻)의 수레바퀴로부터

최초의 근원지로 돌아가려는.

그러려면

내 삶의 움직임은

어떠하여야 하는지...
